Ms. Namita Nayyar: Your career began in Denmark, appearing in national ads for Ikea and E-Trade Denmark later you were selected in the FHM’s “100 Sexiest Women in the World” 2007 list that propelled your professional career to the height where you have been at the top of the world of acting and glamour. Tell us about your journey that took you to where you are now in the world of acting and modeling ?
Ms. Masha Lund: My dream was always bigger than where I was. I grew up in small town, next to forest. Not exactly a metropolitan a model gets her big break! Though when I was teen, I received modeling proposals. People would stop me on the streets, asking me to model for them!
In fact, the first big music video I did was on a school trip to Spain at the age of 16. An agent pulled me over and asked if I wanted be in the music video that evening. I didn’t know what to expect, but I ran away from my trip in the evening just to see what it was like. It was so fun and felt so real! It was then that I decided my country was not big enough for me and flew off to LA. Right away, I got signed with a big modeling agency in LA and NYC. I’ve been living this dream ever since.
Ms. Namita Nayyar: You have selected a profession of being an actress, into fashion and beauty that requires a lot of hard labor, technical soundness and excellence in different faculties to finally succeed, how do you achieve that?
Ms. Masha Lund: You have to invest a lot of hard work in it and stay consistent. Personality, looks, and talent play a large part in that too. I’m a perfectionist and I think a lot of people I’ve worked with appreciate that.
Ms. Namita Nayyar: What exercises comprise your fitness regime or workout routine you shall like to share?
Ms. Masha Lund: I like to mix things up. I take aerial classes, lift weights with a trainer, slip on some gloves & box, practice yoga, kick box, and spin. When I run errands, I’ll wear sneakers and speed walk! If I can’t find the time for a real workout, I’ll sneak in a 20-minute rep set (squats, jump up and down, push ups, etc.) in front of the TV.
Ms. Namita Nayyar: Do you take some special diet or have a strict menu that you follow to remain healthy and physically fit?
Ms. Masha Lund: I’ve tried many diets and honestly the best thing anyone should do is eat healthy, organic portion controlled food. I personally stay away from carbs at night. I’ve been on a soy-free, no white carbs kick lately.
Ms. Namita Nayyar: You have glowing skin and gorgeous hairs. Do you take some kind of skin treatment to keep it young and glowing and secondly what you do to your hairs to make them look so stunning?
Ms. Masha Lund: I actually don’t use much for my face and hair. Just an active lifestyle and good genes I guess!

Ms. Namita Nayyar: Advice and motivational words for our inspiring and budding women models and actresses who all are your fans, what should they do for their climb to the ladder of success in field of acting and fashion?
Ms. Masha Lund: Stay focused and never give up! Stay motivated and work hard! Keep yourself healthy and be happy with your body.
Ms. Namita Nayyar: You are leading media personality, supermodel, spokes model and an actress. How you manage such a remarkable multi-dimensional lifestyle?
Ms. Masha Lund: I make sure to keep myself active. If I have a slow day, I’ll actually get a bit sad. Other days when I have back to back meetings, shoots, and auditions, I wish I had a twin! Then again I bet she’d be as active as I’d be, so we’d be working double time!
Ms. Namita Nayyar: You stars in the popular European reality show “Danske Hollywoodfruer,” which follows the glamorous lives of real Danish housewives living in Hollywood. Tell us about your experience on this show?
Ms. Masha Lund: It was fantastic yet quite exhausting as the camera in your face every day. That’s the life of a reality show though! It was fun sharing my life with fans and family. It was funny to have my mom call me and say I’m watching you on TV right now! Even a number of school friends that which I had lost contact with had found me and got in touch!
Ms. Namita Nayyar: Tell us about your endeavor in the role in “Epic Movie” (with Carmen Electra)?
Ms. Masha Lund: It’s always amazing be on a big movie set and meet the stars. It feels good to go to big auditions and call backs, then get the part! My scene was on the boat with other girls and we had to play with water. One model accidentally sprayed soapy water in my eyes, so I had to get off stage. I needed eye drops and had to redo my makeup. It sucked! The show went on without me for a few takes because the location was only rented out such a short window.
Ms. Namita Nayyar: Who has been your inspiration and motivation that led you to your success in the world of acting and modeling?
Ms. Masha Lund: I grew up in Denmark, which if you know nothing else, it’s a cold place most of the year! I’d watch Baywatch and American movies (filmed in LA with it’s perfect weather). I’ve always inspired by beautiful people like Carmen [Electra] and Pamela [Anderson]. I wanted to be one of those women out in the sand and surf, in front of the
Ms. Namita Nayyar: You have done bold photo shoots for FHM, Maxim, Ralph, Gear, Exposed, Alfa, Playboy, and M!, How you are so body confident and advice to your compatriots?
Ms. Masha Lund: You have to be happy with who you are and not compete with other women’s looks. You have to take your body as it is and not compare to other models. Be proud and confident of your appearance. As far as my “bold” shoots, I think nudity okay. We’re born naked after all. Then again I think there is a relaxed view of nudity in Scandinavian countries.
Ms. Namita Nayyar: What you wish to say about the website Womenfitness.net and message for its visitors?
Ms. Masha Lund: Be supportive of the dreams your friends and family have. You never know where that little push could take them! Every woman on this site found the right push and we should be thankful they did! It’s an inspiration for us all to work harder for our goals in life!
